PARTNERSHIP FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION
Partnering with a local charity can yield many benefits for businesses, extending far beyond mere corporate social responsibility.
Firstly, such alliances offer an avenue for meaningful community engagement, fostering goodwill and enhancing brand reputation. Additionally, they provide opportunities for people to participate in impactful volunteer initiatives, boosting morale and fostering a sense of purpose.
Moreover, collaborations with charities can catalyse innovative solutions to societal challenges, positioning businesses as leaders in social innovation.
Through helping to end homelessness, companies contribute to the welfare of their communities, thereby creating a more sustainable and inclusive society.
Through strategic partnerships with local homeless charities, businesses can not only make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals but also drive positive social change while enhancing their own organisational culture and standing within the community.

Trinity Homeless Projects
We work closely with THP, who provide supported accommodation in Slough and Hillingdon.
We are a preferred referring partner and this enables us to offer a route into accommodation that comes with support which is effective and tailored to meet an individuals need.
As the commissioned drug and alcohol services provider in Slough we have forged an effective and successful partnership with Turning Point. They currently run a drop in service at SHOC once a week to allow guests to meet them and engage in a safe and inviting way as they start their journey.
A weekly drop in session at SHOC allows our guests to speak face to face to a JCP worker and resolve any issues with an ongoing claim, open a new one, and seek advice about work opportunities.
A weekly session at our day centre in SHOC allows our guests to get a personalised service to engage with the mental health services in the local community. The same worker attends every week which allows people to build up trust and when comfortable open up and ask for support for their mental health.
We work closely with Slough Borough Council’s Homeless Team and Outreach Team. Working in partnership on Outreach Sessions to ensure we are reaching people who don’t attend the daycentre and working to ensure an effective housing pathway allows people the opportunity to secure housing that works for them.
